Meet Our Specialized Clinical Team

Our practice is unique because your care is managed by Advanced Practice Nurses who bring a holistic, patient-centered approach to psychiatry.

  • Clinical Expertise: Our APNs have advanced training in the biological and psychological aspects of mental health.
  • Collaborative Approach: We don’t just write prescriptions; we listen, educate, and partner with you to find the most effective treatment.

Ongoing Monitoring: We provide continuous assessment to adjust dosages, monitor for side effects, and ensure the best possible outcomes

Why Medication Management Matters

Psychiatric medications can be life-changing, but they require careful oversight to be successful. Proper management helps to:

  • Find the Right Fit: Every brain is unique. We use clinical expertise (and genetic testing when appropriate) to find the medication that works best for your specific biology.
  • Minimize Side Effects: We work closely with you to manage and reduce unwanted side effects, ensuring your treatment improves your quality of life.
  • Prevent Interactions: Our team carefully reviews your full medical history and other prescriptions to avoid harmful drug interactions.
  • Monitor Long-Term Health: We track physical health markers, such as heart rate and blood pressure, that can be affected by certain medications.

Our Treatment Process

1. Initial Psychiatric Evaluation

Your journey begins with a comprehensive 60-minute assessment where we discuss your symptoms, history, and goals.

2. Personalized Treatment Plan

If medication is recommended, we will explain your options, including the benefits and potential risks, so you can make an informed decision.

3. Follow-Up & Optimization

We schedule regular 15–30 minute follow-up appointments to monitor your progress. As you begin to feel better, these visits may become less frequent.

  • Depression (including Treatment-Resistant Depression)
